The first exhibition in the center of Amsterdam, my home town, was held in Restaurant ‘De Wijnkaart’. Sandra Cotiu, the owner, and I share Romanian roots. She set up this wonderful restaurant last year and offered me the venue. The exhibition lasted 10 days. At the opening night we toasted with a glass of bubbles and I proudly showed my first work. I received many compliments and enthusiastic reactions.
I want to thank all invitees who came to celebrate with me one of the most important nights of my life. A big thanks to Sandra from Restaurant ‘De Wijnkaart’ and to everyone who helped me organize and get there. With deep gratitude I think of this night as the first step to my new future.
